My First Maquette

I made this last semester, for my Character Design class. The creature is a mix of a borneo river toad, lion, and a chimpanzee. I still need to go back to it and make some tweaks, and I'm not sure if I should cover the entire skin with the toad boils or not.


I was also trying to think of what kind of creature this would be. Here's what I got so far:

Species Name: Toliopan (might change it though)

Sexual Dimorphism: Males have lion's mane, females don't.

Males are also larger than the females.

Behavior: Temperamental

Diet: Carnivorous

- Assorted wires (for the base/skeleton of the creature)
- Wooden board
- Electric drill (to drill holes in the board)
- Wire cutters
- Needle nose pliers
